MASCC, founded in 1990, is recognized as the world leader in supportive cancer care with an international and multidisciplinary membership that includes high-level oncology clinicians and research scientists, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, dentists, pharmacists, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals in supportive cancer care from more than 70 countries. MASCC maintains 16 active Study Groups that conduct research, design educational materials, and develop internationally recognized practice guidelines. Current Study Groups, led by world experts, include the fields of Antiemetics, Bone and Musculoskeletal Issues, Education, Fatigue, Geriatrics, Hemostasis, Mucositis, Neurological Complications, Neutropenia, infection and Myelosuppression, Nutrition and Cachexia, Oncodermatology, Oral Care, Palliative Care, Pediatrics, Psychosocial Issues, and Survivorship.
